The Newcranes was a group of young musicians playing up-tempo mandolin-oriented Ukrainian-influenced folk punk music, who were based in the East Midlands of the United Kingdom in the early 1990s. They formed part of Derby's energetic folk punk scene. The group split at the end of the 1990s. Lead singer Wolly Dyszkant emigrated to Melbourne, Australia, and currently records under the name DyMyR, an adaptation of his full Ukrainian first name Wolodymyr. ==Line-up == * Wolodymyr "Wolly" Dyszkant: Vocals, Mandolin, Acoustic guitar * Mark Simpson: Guitars, Vocals, Mandolin, Harmonica * Micky Nesteruk: Accordion, Backing Vocals * Bob Rushton: Bass, Vocals (Frontline, Don’t Drag my Body Down) * David Petty: Bass Guitar (Crown of Thorns) * Steve Cosgrove: Drums and Percussion (Frontline) * Marcus Carter: Drums (Don’t Drag my Body Down) * Chris Lilley: Drums (Crown of Thorns) * Ray Buckley: Electric Guitar, Bass, Vocals (Big Bad World) * Ken 'Kenny' Lavish: Accordion, Bass (Big Bad World) * Wayne Banks, now with Blaze * Rick Millband: Drums; living in Australia 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「The Newcranes」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
